Your first session

Leave with something learned, not just an account.

  1. Choose a starting point

Use the free diagnostic for a broad sample, or start with Contracts and Agency if you want focused practice.

  2. Understand one mistake

Read the explanation. Identify the rule, wording, or math step you missed before answering another question.

  3. Decide what comes next

Keep using the free tools. If you need more topics, timed exams, or focused review, choose full access when you are ready.

A short diagnostic is a starting point for study, not a prediction that you will pass.

FAQ

Before you start.

Is Pass Texas free, or do I need to pay?

The app is free to download, and creating an account does not require a purchase. The free plan includes the 30-question diagnostic, Contracts and Agency topic practice, 3 study-guide areas, flashcard sessions of up to 20 cards, and 2 Math Coach attempts per topic. The math allowance does not reset with each session. Full access is $59.99 USD once, with no subscription or automatic trial renewal. Check the final price shown before you pay.

Should I use the web app or the mobile app?

Choose the web app to study in your browser without installing anything. Choose the iPhone, iPad, or Android app if you want to study on your phone or use downloaded study content offline. Use the same Pass Texas account when switching devices.

Do I need an account?

Sign in or create a free account to use the web app and keep your study progress. Mobile guest practice has a 20-question limit; sign in to use the free account features. If you just want to see how we explain answers, try the five free questions on this website without an account.

I already have an account or paid access. What should I do?

Sign in with the same account and sign-in method you used before. Do not create another account or buy again just because you changed devices. If a mobile purchase is missing, use Restore Purchases in the app with the store account used for the original purchase. Contact support if access still does not appear.

Will my free website quiz results appear in the app?

Not every free website exercise transfers. The timed practice exam has a "Save my result and continue" option: use that flow and sign in to save its result. A normal download or sign-in link does not import a website quiz result. App study progress syncs when you use the same account and connect to the internet.

Can I study offline?

The web app needs an internet connection. The native iPhone, iPad, and Android apps can use study content stored on your device offline. Sign-in, purchases, progress syncing, and content updates need a connection.

Does Pass Texas replace my pre-license course or guarantee a pass?

No. Pass Texas is independent exam preparation for the National and Texas State Law portions of the Texas sales agent exam. It is not a pre-license course, does not award licensing credit, and does not guarantee a passing result. It is not affiliated with TREC or Pearson VUE.
