A Phase II Environmental Site Assessment investigates a recognized concern through sampling and analysis. Depending on the concern, it may test soil, groundwater, vapor, or building materials.
Phase II is a common professional follow-up to a Phase I finding, but it is not the federal all appropriate inquiries standard itself.
