Listing Agreement
The written agreement that makes a seller or landlord a client, and that commonly supplies intermediary consent.
A listing agreement is the written contract between a broker and a seller or landlord. Under Sec. 1101.557(a) a broker who lists real estate for sale under an exclusive agreement for a party is that party's agent, which brings the minimum-services duties into play.
Like the buyer-representation agreement, it can establish intermediary consent under Sec. 1101.559(b) when it authorises intermediary and sets out the Sec. 1101.651(d) prohibited conduct in conspicuous bold or underlined print.
